Download Current Version Of GabMon

NOTE: GabMon 3.1 does not make use of Gab's official API architecture and requires no Gab.com user account credentials for use, makes no connections to the internet other than to Gab's servers. If you're suspicious of the software, feel free to scan it and/or open the .exe (or any of the other files) in a resource editor or hex editor and have a look under the hood to see what it does and doesn't do.  GabMon code is all native VB and not compressed during compile, so will open in editors w/o any issues. All versions of GabMon are scanned prior to upload for public use with Virus Total and are also submitted to Avast's malware analyzing services for approval.

December 30, 2017

GabMon 2.0 was rendered mostly nonfunctional by the server side changes at Gab.ai around Dec. 24. I've worked on the fix for a few days now and have most of the program back in functional order. I should be able to release a beta version (2.1) within the first week of 2018.

Happy New Year!

GabMon first came about shortly after I joined Gab, as I figured out there was no way of being notified if someone made a new post if they didn't 'mention' you in the post or you just happened to see it in the feed.  I was interested in where the platform was going, so I wanted to be notified if Andrew (@a The CEO) made a new post, just in case it might be new information concerning the platform. Once I had this accomplished I pretty much stopped working on it and left it alone for months. Screenshot below is of the first beta version.

Around Dec. 2016

Over the last month or so I have had a renewed interest in what it might be able to offer for 'non-pro' users on the platform. GabMon 2.0  offers the features listed here on the site for Windows (7+) desktop, laptop and notebook users.

GabMon is free and geared to the new user, those who choose to not go 'Pro' for whatever personal reasons and/or anyone else that desires to give it a try.

Check out the 'Features' area for more info.

PS: I am not a professional programmer ( I'm sure that's obvious to those who are) and have never done it for a living, though I've been doing it as a hobby since 1998. I try to beta test and error trap to the best of my knowledge and ability, so if you run across any errors/bugs I'd really appreciate a heads up. Please report them via the contact page here on the site.

Thanks!
